A customized character sheet for Knave 2nd Edition  by Ben Milton.

Included in the downloads are printable PDFs for Letter sized paper, and Form fillable sheets for online play. There are 2 versions of the sheet, one is the regular sheet for the core rules, and the other is a sheet that includes my optional house rules

Optional House Rules:

  • Ranks - A quality of life addition for printed sheets. You may assign a "rank" to an item slot. direct damage begins from the highest ranking item slot to the lowest. This rule is meant to avoid heavy erasures for when player characters wish to rearrange their items or when items get dropped.
  • Held item - When holding an item, you must shade the hand symbol to signify that your player character is holding on to this item. Normally, you may swap your items freely. But during combat, the items you can interact with may become limited based on what you currently have held.

Possible future updates: an A4 version, an Illustrated Character creation booklet for use with this character sheet

I can't assign a portrait with the form-fillable version.

Sadly I don't really know how to have a custom image import function for the form fillable sheet. So the portrait box would only be for printed sheets or if you find a way to import images directly.

I'd love to know how to make it part of the sheets tho

What software are you using to make the form-fillable version? With Acrobat you can insert an image field, iirc it's in tools > prepare form.

ohhh I didnt know that. I dont have Adobe Acrobat, so i used Sejda to make forms

So my group has found some odd behaviors with this must excellent character sheet. When opened in iOS, none of the entered details render. When opened in Edge (Win 11), the stats render as 0. When I open it in FoxIt PDF editor, the form contents render fine.

Thank you for putting your skills into such a nice sheet!

Thank you for using my sheet :)) Different browsers and pdf viewers have different ways to show form fillable areas in pdfs. Some programs don't save the changes in your pdfs until you manually save it, and some don't let you edit form fillable sheets at all.

Character sheets should work on browsers like Edge and Chrome, I'd recommend them because they're the most accessible. But they won't save your sheets until you actively save or press ctrl + S, so remember to save whenever you edit your sheet or they will all go back to 0.

Hope this helps :)) thanks

That’s what was odd about it. A player sent me the sheet, I quickly looked over it on iOS and thought the same. The original file is on my google drive (where it renders correctly). Screen shots of on different platforms on imgur.

That is weird.
I'm not sure what's going on, i tested it in Edge and after saving and viewing it again, it seemed fine. Tho I use Windows 10, so it might be a Win 11 issue. But maybe it has to something to do from your side? like a file save issue or something? I'm just as confused as you are.

for the IOS one however, I think that's the case of the program just not supporting form fillable pdfs. it also doesn't in my android phone. Maybe there's an adobe acrobat app for IOS that lets you edit them?

Thanks for taking a look at it. At least I know I’m not crazy. This may be more common that I realize, since I don’t deal with fillable PDFs much. I downloaded the Adobe app and it works fine. It just, well … Adobe. But that’s my hangup. LOL Thanks again for sharing your work! It is my favorite.
